Manitowoc, WI

Originally built in 1986, this two-bedroom condominium in Manitowoc’s Woodridge Estates was in need of a modern design overhaul. The original kitchen was done in a galley style. Dan Peters designed the new floor plan and managed the entire remodeling project. The remodel included gutting the entire kitchen, opening it up, and installing custom cabinetry and granite countertops. In the living room, the existing fireplace and bookshelf were removed to install a wall-to-wall bookshelf and a built-in gas fireplace that was placed at eye-level. The old oak railings on the open staircase were replaced by custom iron railings to finish out the main living space. The master suite was redone as well, including installing a new shower unit featuring glass block walls. The second floor bedroom and bath were also revamped to complete the remodeling of this unique condominium.
